More vinyl figures in today, this time from the US where Twenty One Pilots had the biggest selling album on the format during 2016.
Like the UK, a significant boost in total sales figures has been reported by BuzzAngle Music, to the tune of 26%, with Amy Winehouse‘s Back To Black, A Moon Shaped Pool from Radiohead and the final David Bowie LP Blackstar along among the year’s favourites.
According to BuzzAngle, 63% of albums sold on vinyl came from the rock genre.
