An instrumental album recorded during sessions for the Sex & Food LP will be released by Unknown Mortal Orchestra on October 26th.
It was while Ruban Nielson was in Vietnam’s Phu Sa Studios with Jacob Portrait and his brother Kody that he teamed up with local musicians for jazz and krautrock inspired jams which are now being put out as IC-01 Hanoi.
A UK and Ireland tour for the band in November includes a prestigious date at the Royal Albert Hall in London on the 21st.
