Twin Atlantic have been at Long Wave Recording Studio.
Twin Atlantic have released another new single, this one entitled Asleep.
The track was co-produced by frontman Sam McTrusty, who’s remembered it as being, ‘so fun to write and record’:
We really managed to recapture the joy we’ve felt about being in our weird band our whole adult lives again. We feel like it’s the perfect mix of joy, melancholy, serious subject matters, but with a throwaway attitude. Hopefully it gives people who listen the same injection of excitement it gave us. Can’t wait to play this one live.
Speaking of live work, the band had festival appearances and Muse support shows this summer, and after a lengthy UK tour last month which included gigs in Milton Keynes, Tunbridge Wells, York and Blackpool, they’ll move into 2024 with a hometown gig at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on May 23rd.
