There’s a clear line drawing the post-2008 Kings Of Leon and Twin Atlantic together, so a cover of the former by the latter feels like a neat fit.

Twin Atlantic visited BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge a little earlier this week, and as is tradition on these occasions were asked to put their own stamp on another band’s track, duly picking the recent Waste a Moment single to play along side their own You Are The Devil.

You Are The Devil is from GLA – one of Live4ever’s albums of 2016 after we said it takes their past and ‘treats it with all the disrespect any outfit which wants to progress needs to demonstrate‘:

“This is new ground, but for anyone needing an anchor Twin Atlantic’s singer still cranks through the gears in a delightful Weegie-croon, most grainily on the arena bound emo-light of Whispers.”

“But equally his burr is present throughout, two dirty fingers up to a game where trans-Atlantic affectation has become a tedious norm.”
