Our pick of the latest new tracks is Keep It Cool, the first of two singles which Nottingham-based Cucamaras have coming up during the next few weeks.
Both this and the forthcoming Window Seat were recorded on the same day at Rainy Daze Studio in Nottingham, firm live favourites with those who are already regulars at the band’s shows.
“The two tracks are always played back to back live just like they are on the studio version” Josh Hart says. “Capturing our live sound in the recording was really important to us.”
Cucamaras took their name from a shot bar in their native city, and after forming in 2019 spent the rest of last year releasing their debut EP Till The Meter Runs Out and a stand-alone single entitled Please Not Tonight.
