TOY‘s new album Happy In The Hollow has been set for release on January 25th next year.

The band’s fourth LP and first since 2016’s Clear Shot was primed last month with two new tracks entitled The Willo and Energy, and this announcement has come with another album cut, opener Sequence One.

“Opening track A Clear Shot is a song of two halves,” Live4ever’s Clear Shot review reads. “Uncomfortable chords are away hacked at for a good while before Dougall laments like a disinterested Morrissey about the streets below being “a town I used to know”. Frenetic drumming eventually lifts you from the listlessness as the latter part surges towards a raging finish.”

“Keyboards on Fast Silver gently jump and trickle, reminiscent of The Doors, and the snake charm wriggle of Jungle Games is as narcotic as George Harrison on the primetime summer of loving Blue Jay Way.”

Happy In The Hollow tracklist:

Sequence One
Mistake A Stranger
Energy
Last Warmth Of The Day
The Willo
Jolt Awake
Mechanism
Strangulation Day
You Make Me Forget Myself
Charlie’s House
Move Through The Dark
