Tom Williams has racked up 150 episodes of his livestream series since it launched at the start of lockdown a year ago.
An official video for the new Tom Williams single Follow The Leader is online today after the track’s premiere on BBC 6 Music yesterday.
“I swung between total despair and absolute elation during the recording process of this song,” Williams recalls.
“Some days it felt new and exciting and other days it felt like I was trying to be something I’m not. I love a lot of different genres of music and a lot of them have never made their way into my own music.
“I found myself creatively hemmed in by the precedent of a decade of my own music. It took me a while to realise I didn’t need to add to it, I needed to start again.”
Out now, the single is to be followed by an album of the same name on July 30th.
