Tom Odell will look to justify his growing reputation as one of Britain’s most promising new talents when he puts his debut album up for scrutiny in April.

Released through Columbia and Lily Rose-Cooper nee Allen’s label ITNO on April 15th, ‘Long Way Down‘ contains the previous singles ‘Can’t Pretend‘ and ‘Sense‘, which helped Odell land the 2013 Brits Critics’ Choice Award, as well as a high placing on the BBC Sound Of…2013 poll.

“I hope the album feels human and real and that there are some flaws – because the flaws help make it what it is,” Odell has said. “Really, I’d love to live in a time when music felt uncontrived and imperfect and gave people a real sense of elevation. When it’s sad I want it to be REALLY sad.”

“When it’s happy I want it to feel euphoric… I suppose I want the record to express the heightened feelings and emotions we all get in our lives.”

‘Long Way Down’ tracklist:

‘Hold Me’
‘Another Love’
‘Grow Old With Me’
‘I Know’
‘Sense’
‘Can’t Pretend’
‘Supposed To Be’
‘Till I Lost’
‘Long Way Down’
‘Sirens’
