Tickets for The Courteeners‘ hometown concert at Manchester’s Heaton Park, set for June 15th next year, have gone on sale.
The outdoor gig is another sure sign of the band’s stronghold over parts of the UK, and they’ll be joined at the venue, which hosted one of Oasis’ last mass gatherings in 2009, by James and Pale Waves. The gig and what it says about The Courteeners, that they may perhaps be ‘the most curious act in rock today‘, was something addressed in Live4ever’s review from Reading Festival:
