The Charlatans‘ winter UK and Ireland tour is now on sale.
The band will play shows in Nottingham, Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Cardiff, London, Dublin and Belfast during November and December in support of the guest-heavy new album Different Days. “After Jon (Brookes) died we decided not to replace him on drums so the first port of call is always Pete Salisbury, who plays with us live, so he was our first guest,” frontman Tim Burgess told BBC 6Music.
“And then as we started to write more and more songs it became apparent that we’d like to ask Stephen Morris to play with us, so Stephen ended up playing on seven songs, and Gillian from New Order also played on one.”
