UNKLE - 'Where Did The Night Fall'

US rock band The National debut at no.1 in this week’s UK Indie Album chart, with their fifth studio album ‘High Violet‘ replacing last week’s no.1 ‘Heaven Is Whenever‘, which drops to #6. Elsewhere, British electronic duo UNKLE enter at #2 with their new record ‘Where Did The Night Fall‘. After 47 weeks on the Indie chart, Prodigy’s album ‘Invaders Must Die‘ climbs five places to #8.




Rapper and producer Fugative is at no.1 in the Indie Singles chart, with his third release ‘Crush‘, narrowly edging out fellow producer Sub Focus, who’s track ‘Splash‘ enters at no.2. Last week’s no.1, Faithless’Not Going Home‘ drops to #3, and the latest in Irish rock band Ash’s series of single releases debuts at #8.

Formed in Sunderland in 2004, Field Music (pic) is built primarily around brothers David and Peter Brewis and has featured members of The Futureheads and Maximo Park in it’s previous line-ups. They released their eponymous debut album in August 2005, which was followed by a compilation of b-sides and early recordings in May 2006. They released their second studio album, ‘Tones of Town’, in January 2007, which was folllowed in February of this year by ‘Field Music (Measure)’.
