Arcade Fire have scored their first UK number one album this week, with their excellent third studio album ‘The Suburbs‘ landing at #1. Elsewhere, Mercury nominees Mumford & Sons and The xx are both non-movers this week at #9 and #13 respectively.

In the Singles chart, rapper Ne-Yo is this week’s UK number one with his track ‘Beautiful Monster‘.
