Reinvigorated after a long break save only for a charity concert in memory of their friend Kristian Ealey, The Zutons will embark on a UK tour next year to remember the 15 years of their debut album Who Killed The Zutons?.

“We’ve all been off doing our own thing for a little while,” remarks frontman Dave McCabe. “It’s only with hindsight and a bit of space that you see how special something really is.”

“It’s easy to take things for granted when you’re younger, but now it’s just amazing to think of those songs still having a place in the world, and for people to come and hear us play them again.”

The tour will start on March 20th 2019 at the Birmingham Institute, and move on to Glasgow, Manchester, London, Bristol, Nottingham and Leeds before they conclude in Liverpool on April 5th.

Since their third album You Can Do Anything of 2008, there’s been various new pursuits for the bandmates with McCabe releasing a solo album in 2015 and saxophonist Abi Harding launching her own solo career under the moniker AbiChan.

Bass player Russell Pritchard, meanwhile, has been a constant member of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds from when the Oasis songwriter began touring in 2011.
