The White Stripes’ Peel Sessions to be release for Record Store Day

White Stripes

Like bands such as The Fall and The Smiths before them, the White Stripes became a favourite pet of the much missed BBC DJ John Peel after first arriving in the UK at the start of the last decade.

And like those bands and many others, the results were some celebrated Peel Sessions performances which have now been collected together for a first official release on Record Store Day 2016.

Over two discs, Jack White and Third Man Records will take fans down memory lane via live cuts of favourites such as ‘Death Letter‘, ‘Hotel Yorba‘, ‘You’re Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl)‘, ‘Well It’s True That We Love One Another‘ and ‘The Same Boy You’ve Always Known‘.
