The Vaccines have confirmed a new album will be released next year whilst outlining details of a show at Alexandra Palace in London on April 14th, 2018.
Since the release of 2015’s English Graffiti, The Vaccines have seen their drummer Pete Robertson depart and bassist Arni Arnason launch a solo career, but are now edging closer to a fourth studio album after Justin Hayward-Young gave an update to NME last year.
“We’re really far along, that’s what we’re doing all day everyday at the moment,” he said. “I mean we’re not recording it yet, but we’re writing a lot – and I mean we have a lot. There are a few songs we’re really excited about.”
“It sort of builds on the musicality of ‘English Graffiti’, but I think there’s a lot more of spirit and energy from ‘What Did You Expect…’.”
