The Undertones‘ self-titled debut album and follow-up have been remastered and will be released both digitally and on vinyl on October 7th.

On their 40th anniversary, the band’s first two albums have been reproduced on 180g heavyweight vinyl with original replicated artwork. Included in the new packages is a 7” remix of the 1979 single ‘Get Over You’ by Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine.

The Undertones originally formed in Derry in 1974, and on their now-classic first single ‘Teenage Kicks‘, famously the favourite track of late DJ John Peel, helped to pioneer Irish independent music on the brilliant Good Vibrations label.
