The Spitfires at number one on UK Vinyl Singles Chart with ‘So Long’

Spitfires

The Spitfires‘ new track ‘So Long‘ is the best seller on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart this week, edging last week’s number one down to #2.

Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind – the new vehicle for the eponymous frontman of Jim Jones & The Revue – are also new in the Top 10, while Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are back in the charts for another week with 2015’s most popular vinyl single, ‘The Dying Of The Light‘.

Dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company last year in recognition of the continuing resurgence of the traditional format – the singles chart is compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
