The latest round of UK and Irish tour dates for The Specials will roll into view at the end of this year.
The 2-Tone legends, who reformed in the absence of their keyboardist and chief songwriter Jerry Dammers back in 2009, start at the Dublin Olympia on November 3rd, and move north to Belfast’s Usher Hall a day later. It’s across the water to Scotland for a gig at the Glasgow Barrowlands on November 6th, before English concerts in Newcastle, Manchester, London, Brighton, Bournemouth, Wolverhampton and Nottingham.
Since their return, there have been conflicting reports surrounding the possibility of a studio album emerging from the group but to-date, the last collection of new material remains a distant, nineties memory.
