The Postal Service to reissue ‘Give Up’ on 10th anniversary

The Postal Service will reissue their debut album ‘Give Up‘ later this year amidst rumours the pair will celebrate its tenth anniversary with an appearance at the Coachella Festival in April.

The fleeting project of Death Cab For Cutie‘s Benjamin Gibbard and DNTEL‘s Jimmy Tamborello released their sole record in 2003, and quickly disappeared almost as soon as they had arrived, despite reports a second album was in the works in 2007.

However, ten years on, more plans are finally coming to fruition, with the re-issue due to arrive on April 8th, featuring the original tracklist as well as a bonus CD of tracks recorded during the original album sessions but which were never released.

Live recordings, remixes and cover versions from the likes of The Shins and Iron & Wine will also be included.
