Continuing on from their Lose Control single,  The Pigeon Detectives have confirmed the fifth album Broken Glances for release on February 24th 2017.

As a few other bands have admitted to lately, the Pigeon Detectives had the aim of getting out of their ‘comfort zone’, and thus recruited producer Richard Formby – as frontman Matt Bowman explained:

“We wanted to work with someone that would challenge us in the studio and put us out of our comfort zone, not let us take any easy ways out with songs. Richard did this and made us change our approach completely from previous records.”

“We ended up ditching a lot of tunes that had a sound that could have been on the first albums as a result.”
