The Pigeon Detectives are Sounding The Alarm for their fifth album Broken Glances, due for release on February 24th.
The latest track is streaming on Spotify ahead of a March UK and Ireland tour for the band when the album, recorded with producer Richard Formby, will be taken out to cities such as Dublin, Stoke and London.
“We wanted to work with someone that would challenge us in the studio and put us out of our comfort zone, not let us take any easy ways out with songs,” frontman Matt Bowman has explained. “Richard did this and made us change our approach completely from previous records.”
“We ended up ditching a lot of tunes that had a sound that could have been on the first albums as a result.”
