The Orielles and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly are a couple of late additions to Live At Leeds 2018.

The Orielles will kick proceedings off at the Holy Trinity Church, with Sam Duckworth doing the same over at The Key Club. These are just two of many artists who’ll be performing at venues across Leeds on May 5th.

Duckworth returned to his Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly moniker last year and released the Young Adult album in January 2018. “There is an inner strength required in someone to being me, myself and I as an artist, especially for a character who wears so much on their sleeve,” Live4ever’s review concluded.

“With that in mind much of Young Adult straddles the inevitable chasm between telling and being open, a dichotomy from which it saves itself by employing traditionally genuine British values like self-deprecation and honest good humour.”

“Whatever he chooses to call himself on stage, Sam Duckworth remains more of a law unto himself than to others, making music looking for a better way but still as conflicted as any superhero.”
