The National finally wrapped up the campaign behind their 2013 album ‘Trouble Will Find Me‘ on November 26th with their biggest ever UK headline show at the O2 Arena in London.
The band have been on the road almost continually since ‘Trouble Will Find Me‘ was released in May last year, and were in London on Wednesday after a few months of festival spots around the world.
Speaking to NME back in July, their chief creative force Aaron Dessner suggested thoughts are already on a seventh studio album, though there will be a long break before then. “We’re actually thinking for the next album we make a very raw, un-produced simple record that nobody will like,” he said.
