The Jim Jones Revue head out on a tour of the UK this coming October in support of their latest studio effort ‘The Savage Heart‘.
The tour opens up on October 9th at the Manchester Ruby Lounge, and progresses on through cities including Edinburgh, Liverpool, Glasgow and Bristol before eventually coming to an end on October 23rd at the Brixton Electric.
‘The Savage Heart’, released in October 2012, was praised by Live4ever as being a musical step forward fo the band whilst still retaining their highly charged rock n roll roots.
“While there is still plenty of vintage rock n’ roll howling sprinkled throughout,” the review reads, “it is undoubtedly the moments of experimentation – the sudden acapella breakdown on ‘Never Let You Go‘, the ghostly doo-wop eulogy of closer ‘Midnight Oceans & The Savage Heart‘ – that provide an intriguing distance.”
