The Gaslight Anthem have premiered the title-track of their forthcoming new album ‘Get Hurt‘. Watch the video on Live4ever at this link.
The New Jersey band are preparing to release their fifth album on August 18th after recording sessions at the Blackbird Studios in Nashville with producer Mike Crossey – a man they signed up after listening to The 1975‘s debut album.
“We were like, ‘Well that sounds different – what would happen if a band like us works with a guy who makes records sound like that?’,” frontman Brian Fallon has told NME. “I think people are going to be like, ‘Wow, I didn’t know a band that play punk rock could play something that heavy, or something that pretty.”
The Gaslight Anthem tour the UK in November, starting at the Manchester Apollo on the 17th. The tour then visits London’s Alexandra Palace (19th), the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh (21st), Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena (22nd) and finally the Birmingham Academy on November 23rd.
