The Gaslight Anthem will soon begin a tour of North America.
The Gaslight Anthem have shared Positive Charge, their first new single in nearly a decade.
New music was promised to be a part of the return confirmed by frontman Brian Fallon on social media back in March 2022, and a long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s Get Hurt has now duly arrived.
“Positive Charge began as a message of joy to ourselves and to our audience,” the band said.
The central theme is about looking at the things you’ve come through and feeling like you want to go ahead with an open heart toward the future, believing that the best years are not behind any of us and the good we have is worth something.
The tour, meanwhile, is due to start at House Of Blues in Houston on May 1st.
