The Futureheads continue comeback with Jekyll single

Futureheads

The Futureheads comeback has taken another step forward with the release of a new single.

After officially coming out of hiatus at the start of this year, when they said a new album was ‘almost finished’, the band have now unveiled Jekyll and confirmed that album will be released on August 30th.

Barry Hyde describes it as ‘a monstrous, preposterous riff for monstrous preposterous times’ and ‘a violent song about his childhood disgust at the grinning, jeering faces of certain fellow primary school students (even the nice ones) whenever there was a playground fight’. He adds:

“It left a scar in my psyche that I just can’t shake. A song for the animal part of us all. With love from The Futureheads.”
