The Enemy by Emilie Cotterill
The Enemy reunited for a UK tour in 2022.
The Enemy have announced they will release their first studio album since 2015’s It’s Automatic on February 20th next year after recording sessions with producer Matt Terry.
Entitled Social Disguises, its first single Not Going Your Way is out in a week’s time, while Tom Clarke has said the long gap between records put the band back in the mindset of their debut album.
We tried to make this album in the same frame of mind that we made our first, as though we were making the follow-up to it. It took a year to write, around 90 demos, and another year in the studio. I’m very proud of it. We all are. Whatever success it does or doesn’t enjoy I feel like we all succeeded in making a great record we can be proud of forever.
