The Dandy Warhols are looking forward to their sold-out gig at the London Roundhouse this weekend with a video for Thick Girls Knock Me Out (Richard Starkey).
It’s some brand new material from the band after the release of Distortland last year; as Courtney Taylor-Taylor explains, its origins go back much further than that. “This song is a story from about a decade ago and it all came together last year,” he’s said.
“Last year when nobody believed we would have the political insanity which is now unfolding. I hope this can be a moment of clever fun and a break from the big worries that are quickly piling up on our doorsteps.”
The Roundhouse gig brings The Dandy Warhols’ European tour to an end after it launched in Madrid on February 10th.
