The Cure have released a trailer for their Anniversary 1978-2018 concert film, the latest chapter of a busy year for the band.
The film will be in cinemas on July 11th, telling the story of their 40th anniversary concert at the 2018 British Summer Time festival which Robert Smith has remembered as being ‘the perfect way to celebrate 40 years of the band’. “It was a fabulous day none of us will ever forget,” he continued.
“If you’d asked me in the rocket what I’d be doing in 40 years, I would have got the answer very wrong, but it’s thanks to everyone around me, and to you all as well that I’m still here.”
