The Cure will play the gig on June 24th.
Another big outdoor UK show has been added to The Cure‘s summer 2026 live plans, this one in Cardiff at Blackweir Fields.
A general sale of tickets is to open on October 17th, and the event’s founder Nick Saunders has described the booking as a, ‘massive coup:
When we first announced we would be hosting shows here at this incredible location The Cure were top of many people’s wish lists, so we are absolutely delighted to be making a lot of people very happy with this announcement.
“The Cure are the soundtrack to so many people’s lives, they have been one of the world’s biggest bands for more than 40 years, so it does not get much bigger and better than to be welcoming them to Cardiff and Blackweir Fields next summer.”
