The Charlatans will host a ten-day festival in Northwich, Cheshire later this year.
The centre-piece of this event will be four gigs performed by the band at Northwich Memorial Court on May 14th, 16th, 17th and 18th featuring largely different sets for each night. The town’s Salty Dog pub, meanwhile, is set to host a week of live bands, and a Charlatans memorabilia exhibition, film screenings, podcasts and vinyl fairs are planned too.
“We’re really excited about our four shows in Northwich,” the band respond. “We rehearsed at the Memorial Court for our last tour and we all pretty much said at the same time that we had to play there.”
“As with most Charlatans events, we thought of lots of stuff we could do around the gigs – so we called some friends, found a space for an exhibition, borrowed a 1930s cinema and the results ended up pretty mind blowing. See you in Northwich in May?”
