The Charlatans have lined up an outdoor gig in Yorkshire for next June.
The band play Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre on June 16th 2017, adding to some headline grabbing live duties which also include a bill-sharing gig with James at Liverpool’s Echo Arena this Saturday and supporting The Courteeners at Emirates Old Trafford on May 27th.
“We have played some truly memorable gigs in Yorkshire down the years and we expect another unforgettable night in Scarborough next summer,” they say.
“Yorkshire crowds have always been among our warmest and loudest supporters and we cannot wait to play for them again.”
Frontman Tim Burgess was recently revealed as the ambassador for next year’s Independent Venue Week.Burgess, and plays a show at the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room on January 23rd with support from Tear and Pheromoans.
