The Blinders have confirmed the details of their debut album.
Columbia has been given a release date of September 21st via Modern Sky UK after Thomas Haywood, Charlie McGough and Matthew Neale’s recording sessions at Magic Garden Studios in Wolverhampton with producer Gavin Monaghan. “Welcome to Columbia,” they say.
“We invite you to open the gates to this new world and indulge in drudgery under absolute autocracy, served to you on a plastic tray. Johnny Dream skulks the streets as the factories fabricate their meat. The powers that be call for his head. Daddy told me it’s us and them.”
The band have headline UK shows at the Borderline in London and Manchester Gorilla next month before an appearance at Kendal Calling on July 28th. More shows are expected to be announced soon.
