Dan Auerbach has set his new solo album Waiting On A Song for release on June 2nd.
As discussed by the Black Keys man back in December, the record features contributions from Mark Knopfler and Duane Eddy, among others, who guested on sessions which first began soon after the 2009 effort Keep It Hid after he’d moved to live in Nashville. “I learned so much from these guys,” he told Rolling Stone.
“These guys tell me they’re genuinely thrilled to be here because we’re making records like they used to.”
