The Beatles score high new entry on UK Record Store Chart after Revolver re-release


The Beatles Revolver

The Beatles classic has been given the super deluxe treatment.

The Beatles have debuted inside the Top 3 on the UK Record Store Chart after the remastered re-release of their 1966 album Revolver.

Tom Odell is leading the way with Best Day Of My Life, while last week’s number one – Arctic Monkeys’ The Car – is at #9 and Dry Cleaning have another week in the Top 20 with Stumpwork.




A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best-selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
