Temples at their best have always brought the golden age of sixties’ psychedelia straight to mind, so getting Sean Ono Lennon in to produce their new track Paraphernalia seems like a good fit.

“I’d always been a fan of the band,” Lennon reveals. “Had seen them play some pretty great shows over the years. When I first heard the demo for Paraphernalia I knew they had a great tune.”

This is Temples’ first action of the year after the band released their third studio record Hot Motion in September 2019, their first as a trio with lead singer James Bagshaw joined by Tom Walmsley and Adam Smith. “In an age of constant distraction, we all strive to find focus and a sense of calm,” Bagshaw says.

“Paraphernalia questions the depth of ‘real’ connections in a digital world.”
