We assume you’re intrigued by Jarvis Cocker‘s latest undertaking, so may we direct you to the video for Tearjerker and The Tearjerker Returns which might help to explain the goings on inside Room 29 of the Château Marmont hotel in Hollywood.
The Pulp frontman has just recently confirmed an album release date for Room 29: Jarvis Cocker & Chilly Gonzales of March 17th to go with live outings at London’s Barbican Theatre between March 23rd-25th.
“Featuring contributions from film historian David Thomson and the stories of famous former occupants of the room such as Jean Harlow and Howard Hughes, the show will also attempt to unpick the way a heady concoction dreamt up in the immediate vicinity of the hotel went on to intoxicate the entire population of planet Earth,” Cocker said of the live plans.
