Two of the leading creative forces of the 1960s – The Kinks‘ Ray Davies and Donovan – are to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame a little later this year.
Recently retired Lily Allen, Sting and The Beatles‘ producer George Martin were the main winners at last night’s Broadcast Music International Awards, which honours artists for their contribution to US television and radio, reports Bang Showbiz.
A list of fifteen acts which have been nominated for inclusion on the prestigious Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame have been unveiled today, with Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi and Beastie Boys amongst those shortlisted.
