Squid have released their new single Houseplants.
It’s more glorious idiosyncrasy from the band who were back working with producer Dan Carey for this latest offering. Drummer and lead vocalist Ollie Judge says it’s about ‘being able to afford a house and not having to have beans on toast for the week leading up to payday’:
“Pessimistically, I don’t see that future happening, but I still catch myself every now and again thinking it could.”
Squid will be taking the growing reputation of their live show to South By Southwest later this month, and have UK dates booked through the spring.
