Shortly after a September UK tour was announced to start the build-up to their second studio album, Spring King have released a brand new single entitled Animal.
“Animal takes its inspiration from our unshakable reliance on technology and how repetitive modern day existence has become,” says Tarek Musa.
“There is constant tension between human nature and technological progression: we are glued to technology, sometimes not sure how to let go, whilst simultaneously fighting the animalistic, hedonistic urge to unplug and completely lose ourselves.”
The headline tour will launch in Glasgow after a run of festival appearances during the next few months which include visits to the Neighbourhood Weekender and Reading/Leeds.
“We’re so excited to get back on the road in September and do our biggest headline shows to date,” Tarek adds. “We can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been working on – this feels like the culmination of everything we’ve been doing over the last few years. This is only be the beginning.”
