‘Final Straw’ took Snow Patrol to the UK’s Top 3 in the summer of 2003.

Snow Patrol have added demos, previously unreleased tracks and live recordings to their third studio album Final Straw for a 20th anniversary reissue on April 7th.

“I still have days where I don’t believe much of the last 20 years,” the band’s frontman Gary Lightbody has written in the liner notes.




In the back of my mind, I’m still waiting for the tap on the shoulder and someone saying, ‘you’re not supposed to be here’. In a lot of ways, it’s a gift we were given. We’ve never taken any of what happened after the release of this album for granted.
