Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has said modern pop music is ‘insulting’ to artists such as him who ‘bleed’ and ‘die’ for what they create.
“It bothers me, because I put so much into everything I do, I put so much into my music – I bleed for it and die for it every god damn night,” he’s told Loudwire in a video interview which can be seen in full below.
“To watch these people basically let a computer go through the motions and do all the work for them, it’s insulting to everyone out there who has more talent and less attention.”
Taylor’s hard rock band had to cut short a gig in Hartford, Connecticut last weekend after bass player Alessandro Venturella was taken ill suddenly on stage.
“After a medical emergency during last night’s show, we are relieved to let everyone know that our bass player, Alex ‘V-Man’ Venturella, is well on the road to recovery,” they later told fans on Facebook.
