Slaves put their own unmistakable take on the LCD Soundsystem track ‘Daft Punk Is Playing At My House‘ during a live session for BBC Radio 1 which can be heard below.

Laurie Vincent and Issac Holman release their debut album ‘Are You Satisfied?‘ on June 6th, and also performed the current single ‘Feed The Mantaray‘.

It’s a year now since we sat down with the duo at SXSW. They’ve since issued a string of irresistible singles and were named on the BBC Sound Of longlist for 2015.

“Music doesn’t have to have any meaning to incite feeling in someone,” Vincent told us then. “The way someone plays guitar, like Jimi Hendrix, he can make someone feel amazing. Just the sound of your music can incite passion in people, so you don’t have say anything directly at politicians or cause a fuss.”

Slaves tour the UK in May, opening on the 5th at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms.
