Slate release more from their debut EP.
Slate have shared the second single from their Deathless EP which is due out on May 17th.
Shade In Me follows on from the impressively sprawling lead track Remoter Heaven, another of the six which were recorded across one take with producer Tom Rees of Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard.
“When someone needs refuge, you can offer them your shade,” Jack Shephard said.
The song itself, ended up gentler in sound compared what we have been used to writing. Sentimental songs like this one can make you feel vulnerable. But perhaps that is appropriate for a song about opening up yourself for someone.
