SCALER will begin some UK dates next month.

SCALER had the assistance of Daniel Avery in the producer’s chair whilst working on their track New Symbols, adding to the recent cut LOAM on a double A-side single which is out now.

“With New Symbols we wanted to act quickly on our instincts and create something a bit more rough and ready,” the band said.

We started with a sturdy, winding groove before adding the blasts of alien vocals and industrial noise. The focus was exploring different flavours of distortions across all instruments whilst remaining functional at its core, which we especially enjoyed sculpting in the middle shoegazey section – which is particularly fun live.

“The noisy, younger sibling to Loam,” Avery added.. “This one was alive from the beginning but when asked to fan the flames I happily obliged.”

The UK tour will open at 9294 in London on November 22nd and move on to venues in Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Bristol.
