Ringo Starr is aiming to shed new light on the final years of The Beatles with a new collection of previous unreleased photos to be made available as an e-book soon.

Simply entitled ‘Photograph‘, the book is being released through the Apple Store on June 12th to coincide with the opening of a Grammy Museum exhibit on the former Beatle entitled Ringo: Peace & Love.

In all, 100 never-before-seen shots of the Fab Four are included. The story begins with images from the band’s first trip to the US, and takes readers on a journey through their Maharishi days in India and on to the final months leading to their breakup, which was finally officially announced in 1970.

“These are shots that no one else could have,” Ringo says in a statement, adding that they were found, “packed away in boxes we brought home after my mother died. We thought, ‘I wonder what she’s got!”

Limited edition physical copies, signed by Ringo, go onsale in December.
