Spotify chiefs are hoping to get hold of Radiohead‘s new album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool‘ ‘as soon as they can’ following its release yesterday (May 8th).
The band’s ninth studio LP is currently available on Apple Music and Tidal, but frontman Thom Yorke‘s long standing differences with Spotify appear to have left the biggest streaming service of them all out of the loop.
“Radiohead’s new singles ‘Burn the Witch’ and ‘Daydreaming’ are already available on Spotify, and we look forward to making the rest of ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ available on Spotify as soon as we can,” a statement given to Billboard reads.
Having returned with ‘Burn The Witch‘ at the start of last week, Radiohead used the unveiling of second single ‘Daydreaming‘ on Friday (May 6th) to reveal the album’s almost immediate release date. It will be out on physical formats next month.
