R.E.M. to reissue major label debut ‘Green’

R.E.M‘s 1988 major label debut ‘Green‘ will become the latest album to receive a reissue as part of the now-defunct band’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

A deluxe edition of the album includes a remastered version of the original tracklist, along with a second CD recorded live in Greensboro, North Carolina on November 10th, 1989.




In addition, a limited edition EP entitled ‘Live in Greensboro‘, featuring five additional tracks from the ’89 gig, will be released on April 20th as part of this year’s Record Store Day initiative.
