Brian May and Roger Taylor have confirmed the details of a new Queen album which will contain vocals recorded by the band’s legendary frontman Freddie Mercury before he died in 1991.

Queen Forever’ has been slated for release on November 10th and contains the much discussed eighties collaboration between Mercury and Michael Jackson, ‘There Must Be More To Life Than This‘, as well as the previously unfinished track ‘Let Me In Your Heart Again‘ which originates from ‘The Works‘ album sessions, and a new, stripped-down version of Mercury’s solo track ‘Love Kill‘.

The rest of the album will be more familiar, described by guitarist May as, ‘Things that we have collected together that are representative of our growth rather than the big hits’.

Producer William Orbit has overseen the LP, and remarks: “I had known Roger for many years, now he was on the phone asking if I would get involved in this musical adventure.”

“When I first played it in my studio I opened a trove of delights provided by the greatest of musicians. Hearing Michael Jackson’s vocals was stirring. So vivid, so cool, and poignant, it was like he was in the studio singing live. With Freddie’s vocal solo on the mixing desk, my appreciation for his gift was taken to an even higher level.”

‘Queen Forever’ will be available as a 20-track single CD and an extended 36-track two-CD package.
